Facts & figures
Festool – firmly rooted and always growing: All facts, figures and data about this long-established, family-run company.
Devoted to our home region – but at home worldwide

We are a company devoted to our home region. Our roots lie at the foot of the Swabian Alb. To be precise: In Swabian Wendlingen on the Neckar. This is also the location of our main administrative office. Further production sites are located 20 kilometres away in Neidlingen, in Illertissen and in Česká Lípa in the north of the Czech Republic. Globally, we are present in 68 countries and have over 2700 employees. We operate our own subsidiaries in 25 countries – our export quota is 76 percent. Together with the Tanos brand, Festool is a brand of TTS Tooltechnic Systems AG & Co.KG.
Built for real challenges: Our power tools

The freedom to turn an idea into reality. To implement a project – without interruptions or downtimes. To achieve this in the shortest amount of time, with maximum efficiency and with minimum physical strain … there are thousands of challenges for a modern power tool. Our devices are designed to cope with these challenges and to meet the highest of demands, offering impressive performance, ergonomics and design. The focus in all three disciplines is not only on achieving an appealing appearance, but above all on the benefit to the user. This can be seen in the result and can be felt in your hands. For years, many of our devices have been receiving awards, including the iF Product Design Award – such as the FS guide rail, TSC 55 plunge-cut saw or, currently, our SYSROCK radio. It is something we are proud of.
1846 inhabitants, 20,000 cherry trees and a factory of the year

Our production location sits at the foot of the Swabian Alb – in Neidlingen to be precise. It is not only set in an idyllic environment, surrounded by 20,000 cherry trees, but has also already received numerous prizes: The Neidlingen plant was given the "Factory of the year" award in the competition run by the trade journal "Produktion", in particular for the successful implementation of Lean Management concepts, the consistent philosophy of continuous improvement and for high quality standards.
